Thanks for commenting -- you reminded me that this post shouldn&#039;t really be published any more as it gives the impression that Baren Social is still being used much. The site is more or less moribund -- the software wasn&#039;t up to par and the Facebook &#039;friends of&#039; post was good enough for most people.

Is the Baren Social forum alive or dead? I tried to join and the space for the security code at the bottom of the registration form was blank with an x in it. Could you pass this info on to the right person? If its a live site, I would like to get involved. I just recently joined Baren.</description>
